Bounced Checks

I just wrote two checks for a total of $300.00 and I live in massachusetts, I thought I had my employmet check in my account but it is not in the bank so I will have NSF. Will I be Arrested?

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws,Chapter 266, Section 37, a drawer of a check has two days, beginnning from the date that he/she received notice that such check would not be honored by his/her bank, to pay the holder of the check the amount owed plus any and all costs and protest fees. In the event the drawer does not follow the foregoing, the dishonored check shall be used as evidence of either larceny or atempted larceny.
