Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

breaking and entering

What recourse do I have when I suspect a person has broke into my house several times during the day stealing money but I can't prove it. I am certain as to who it is and he continues to do it.

Re: breaking and entering

You have several options, some of which are (1) confronting this individual with your beliefs and information in the hope that this will cause him to stop; (2) forwarding the information to authorities to see if they will follow up and investigate; or (3) do something to get solid evidence. If this person is not privy to your hunch, why not set up a small security camera in your home and tape the events of the day?
