Check the 1998 docket of the Rrobate Court for the County in which your Mother resided and/or request your sister or the attorney who may have handled the estate provide you copies of the inventory and all accounts and/or any trusts which would not be recorded in the Probate court.. Good Luck.

Your mother's power of attorney was rendered ineffective upon her passing.

You really need more information before you can begin to piece together what happened. I would recommend that you start by checking out the Registry of Deeds to see when, to whom, and for how much, your mother's home was sold for.

You should also go to the Probate Court in the county where your mother resided at her time of death and locate her will, if any.

If you need the assistance of an attorney, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
