Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

marital

Two years ago (when my Dad died) I inherited 1/5th ownership of a home in NH, which he had inherited from my Mother when she died in 1986. My siblings and myself have maintained this home and use it occassionally. Right now my 24yr. old son is spending time there ''writing a book''. My husband announced today he would like to visit this son, next weekend, as son has been lonely. He intends to take his ''friend'' with him to NH. This ''friend'' has been calling to speak with my husband on a daily basis, but if I answer the phone he just hangs up. My husband will then phone him back then run out to the car to talk, this has been going on for at least two years. I`m really sick of it. I told my husband I didn`t want ''friend'' going to stay in the NH house. He didn`t answer just smirked. My question is this. Do I have any legal right to ban this man from my NH home?

Re: marital

The law of New Hampshire governs, but I suspect that you can. Enforcing the ban may require a court order. The real issue, however, appears to be that your husband is having an extra-marital relationship; you need to determine whether you will remain in the marriage.
