Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

Search and Seizure

Money was confiscated from my apartment after an executed search warrant. A motion to surpress was later filed and granted by the judge. Am I entitled to get the money back that was taken from my apartment?

Re: Search and Seizure

Yes. You are entitled to seek your money back. You will probably have to ask the DA, or police, or file a petition with the court requesting the money be returned. It may end up a little more complicated, but that is the easy step. Should you have any questions, or seek assistance, contact me at my office.
