Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts

Will

Mother died in Sept.2005 with my brother as Exec. In 1998 she met with lawyer, brother , financial advisor and wrote will. Now brother says will is missing, I can have ''some'' of what I was left in will and he will ''pay'' me over a few years. Nothing probated, no death certificate filed, he's doing it on his own. He sent me a first payment check (Have not cashed)knowing I want to see will and knowing I do not want to do it this way. I have an unsigned copy of will. Do I need to retain a lawyer?

Mom deeded house to him with promisory notes for my share and younger brothers. When requested, no original is around brother says. I will also not get what mom stated as he has had expenses but won't give an accounting. Help

Re: Will

I would suggest you get a lawyer. Take him a copy of the your Will copy and a copy of everything you have in writing from your brother.
