Legal Question in Workers Comp in Massachusetts

if i had a pre exsisting condition (arthrtis) and because of what i did for work made the problem worse in fact so bad i needed two surgeries the last surgery resulting in me becomeing disabled and no longer able to do my job the company said they had no other jobs they could put me in and then fired me.is there a chance i can go after them for workers compinsation
