Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan

Applications of Michigan Laws On ''Ogling''

I was told by a security gaurd protecting a house remodeled by a television show that if my friends and I did not move along the sidewalk and stop looking at the house, we could be charged with either ''ogling'' or being a peeping tom. I questioned this, as it was said in all seriousness, but eventually moved along. We were not looking into any windows, nor were we staring in any sort of vicious way. Are there really such laws on the books? Could they have such applications? Just curious.

If you were on public property, only the real cops could charge you with loitering. Bill Stern
