Legal Question in Consumer Law in Michigan

We bought a vehicle

We had previously filed bankruptcy , so we were limited on where we could go to purchase a vehicle. We went to a ''Buy here, pay here'' place and bought a Suburban.(August 2004) On our way home from the dealership, the vehicle somehow got stuck in low gear and wouldn't shift. We drove 15 miles an hour to a friend's house nearby, called the dealership,& they had closed for the night. Called back the next morning and had them come get it. They towed it and had it for about a week. They told us it was fixed.

Well, Tuesday night my husband was on his way home from work and the vehicle is once again, stuck in low gear.

Now, my question : Are they responsible for anything?

There was a 30 day warranty. But the way I see it is,since we had it in there once for this problem already, if they supposedly fixed it, then this shouldn't have happened again. Obviously, they must have just rigged it up to make it through the 30 days?

Please help

Thank you so much!

Re: We bought a vehicle

You may be able to sue under the breach of warranty laws, but I would need a lot more information such as the age of the vehicle and the service records.
