Legal Question in Criminal Law in Michigan

HYTA probationary terms

Under HYTA, what are the usual probationary obligations? Does anyone know what the limits assigned are in madison heights/oakland county areas of michigan? What's the shortest probation a person can serve? I have most of my family in Canada and am concerned about being able to see them. Thank you.

Re: HYTA probationary terms

I recently had a case like yours where the probationer had family in Canada. I was able to get her probation for retail fraud dismissed after 3 months. Much of it depends on what the underlying crime is and how good your attorney is. If you need help with this, contact my office at www.schmierlaw.com

You can be sentenced to jail under HYTA which has little to do with punishment but has, as its purpose, leaving you with no criminal record of your conviction.
