Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
My divorce was finalized in Aug., 1996. At that time, a QDRO was not entered. It was told to me that it could be done at a later time. My ex husband has now retired (medically and took a buy out in 2007 I believe). I received $240.00 before taxes from his S.S. I was married to him for 15 years and I know that an appropriated amount is due me from his pension. He showed me a paper from Ford Motor Co. (he worked there over 30 years) and the figure I saw was about $900.00. He has retired now, will not give me any info as to the whereabouts of that paper stating that $900.00 figure and, when I call Ford Motor Co., they have no QDRO on filed. My attorney died the year after I divorced and his partner never entered a QDRO on my behalf. I have original JOD.
What course of action should I follow to collect from his pension from Fords amortized for the 15 years that I was married to him?

You should contact a family law attorney to have them review the Judgment. Without review of the Judgment, I can't give you any further advise.
