I moved out of the house and want to know if I am entitled to half the equity in a divorce?

Depends: how long were you married, was the house separate property before the divorce, how have you contributed to the household etc.... Generally as a rule of thumb yes but a lot of factors go into distribution of assets- its an "equitable" issue.
