Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

What documents can prove current income?

My child lives in Michigan - I live in California. During a child support review and investigation in April 2009, Friend of the Court declined to use my paycheck stubs to determine current income because I work for an out of state company. They said they did not believe my paycheck stubs accurately showed my true income. Instead, they used my income from the first quarter of 2008 which they obtained through a data warehouse. I provided all paycheck stubs from 1/1/09 to 4/15/09 which shows my current salary income. I also provided a letter from my employer confirming my salary amount. My current income is $13K less than what FOC says it is. I will be filing for a new investigation in September when my son begins school. What can I use then to prove my income so FOC uses my actual income?
