Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Emancipation

I was wondering if there was any way i could legally emancipate myself from my parents without a job. I am 16 years old and have another place to stay and would go to school full time while searching for a job. Also, I doubt that my parents would want me to leave, however I cannot be around them further because of emotional issues that cannot be resolved in my situation.

Re: Emancipation

You typically have to be able to prove that you are able to provide for yourself in order to become emancipated. With no job, I do not think it's likely you'd succeed.
