Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Michigan

I have an "aggravated domestic assault" case coming up. I can say everything she said was true. Would it be better for me to plead innocen or guilty and try to plea bargain it down? Have no money for lawyer so must go it alone. What is best option for me.......thanks
