Legal Question in Employment Law in Michigan
In the State of Michigan, is someone more likely to be provided unemployment benefits if they are terminated or if they are given a choice to resign in lieu of termination, does that affect their ability to get benefits? Which way should I go as I want to stay employable.

If your termination (quitting or firing) is involuntary you are eligible for benefits. Ask your employer if he intends to contest your unemployment benefits if you resign.
