Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

I was rear ended while stopped at a red light. When I got out to inspect the damage the girls offered me money to not call the police. I took their license plate and called the police immediately, anyhow. When the police arrived the case became that the girls parents did not know she had taken the vehicle. She did not have a drivers license or any other identification and she was a high school student. Her story was that she was looking down for only 5 - 10 seconds and she just didnt stop in time. The girl ended up going to booking. At the time I was not feeling any different and now my neck is beginning to get frequent pains and soreness more than normal. Should I seek medical attention and further legal action against this claim? Or just get the minimal damage repaired?

Make your claim and seek all necessary medical attention until you are fine. Many symptoms don't come for a while and there could be more problems than you realize. Your medical bills are fully covered under Michigan no fault law. Tim Klisz kliszlaw.com
