Legal Question in Personal Injury in Michigan

Are travel expenses for a physician being deposed reimbursable at my hourly rate.

I submitted a bill for a 2 hour deposition and an additional 1 hour travel round-trip for deposition testimony I provided. I received a reimbursement check for the 2 hour fee with a letter attached that travel isn't a reimbursable expense.

It just matters what your arrangement is. There is no strict rule on it. However, if a dispute arises, you can threaten to take it up with the trial judge. The judge would probably give you some travel expenses. William S. Stern
