If the heirs to an estate are siblings and one of the siblings dies, does that portion fall to the kids of the sibling that passed?

I am assuming that the deceased sibling died before the person from whom he or she is inheriting (likely a parent?). If there is a Will, it will dictate where the deceased sibling's share goes. If there is no Will, the deceased child's share will go to the deceased child's descendants. Go to the following link, input the information, and it will tell you who the heirs are: http://www.mystatewill.com/states/MI/MIintcalc.htm

If you want to talk about it and find out your rights, feel free to give me a call at toll-free (888) 487-6150. Good luck.
