Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

My husband died suddenly and unexpectedly at 43. He had a house when we got married and that is the house we lived in. We paid it off several years ago. He never got around to putting my name on the house. Now what do I have to do. Is it going to cost a lot to put it in my name? Do I have to pay taxes etc for this. I have a 9 year old child.

Unfortunately, you will have to go through the probate system. Its not the worst, but will take some time and money. I see you are in Livonia.
