Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Michigan

Six years ago I allowed my neighbor to build a fence partially on my land. When I gave my permission I had them sign a notarized document (letter of understand) indicating the fence was on my land and for any reason I could ask the fence be removed / relocated with 30 days notice. Is the document enforceable outside of a 7 year time frame or after 7 years has gone by?

Adverse possession requires a person to occupy anothers land, amoung other requirements for 15 years in the state of Michigan. The statute of limitations is 6 years on a breach of contract. Unless they have refused to take down the fence within 30 days of you asking them there is no breach. If they did refuse, you have 6 years from the date they breached (refused).
