Legal Question in Workers Comp in Michigan

Worker's comp redemption

I have a worker's comp case that is going towards redemption. I was shot and robbed while dlivering pizzas. The company refuses to pay me or even say that it happend. What is redemption and will it be a good option? I have no lawyer.

Re: Worker's comp redemption

You have not provided any details so no lawyer will be able to give you advice. Who is the insurer, who is the lawyer representing the pizza store, what is your disability, how long is your disability expected to last, who are the doctors involved and what do they say, are there independent medical exams and if so, who, what do they say, are there outstanding medical bills, is medicaid involved, is there any payback to any health insurer or governmental entity? What was your rate of pay? These are all factors to use to determine if the redemption is a good deal or even proper. William S. Stern
