Legal Question in Employment Law in Minnesota

paid breaks

I am an hourly employee in MN. If we extend our 10 min paid break to 12 min., our employer deducts the 2 min from our check and also disciplines us. I thought disciplining was OK but taking paid time away was not.

Re: paid breaks

You're allowed a 10 minute break (your time).

Take 2 more minutes and its your employer's time.(No pay.)
