Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Minnesota
We paid our rent late and recieved an eviction notice and court date the following day. We paid the other fees when we went to court and still live in the apartment. When we applied for a new apartment they said we have an unlawful detainer. I assumed we didn't because we paid the rent and fees. What can I do to get this taken off of my record?

AN Unlawful Detainer on your record is a serious matter with very damaging effects for your future ability to rent.
