Legal Question in Product Liability in Minnesota

previous expert testimony

2 expert witnesses testified for the first plaintiff in an MDL, but both are not available for subsequent the trials. how do you go about reading their testimony into the record? do you have to alert the defense you will be using their testimony at the time expert reports are due? who actually reads the testimony into the record. wouldn't that put a jury to sleep?
