Legal Question in Family Law in Mississippi

Is he is contempt?

I was divorced in December and in our final divorce decree it states that my ex must maintain medical insurance on both of my children and on me. As soon as we were divorced his employer cancelled me from insurance plan (which he and I both knew would happen) and now I am paying for the Cobra. I have sent him the bill for the past 5 months but he refuses to pay. We had orginally agreed that he would maintain my medical insurance and now he is refusing. What are my rights with this?

Is he is contempt? Yes. But he has an excellent defense. Without some extraordinary reason you cant get health insurance otherwise (i.e. disability, serious pre-existing condition, etc.), I dont think this issue alone would be worth pursuing.
