Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I have filed for Divorce in Missouri. My husband and I have both signed the papers and they were filed with the courts almost 2 weeks ago. I think we would now like to change it to a legal seperation. Can we do that without starting over the 30 day waiting period with some time of ammendment to the initial filing?
