Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri

I loaned my daughter $18,000 five years ago with the understanding that this money was from my retirement fund and must be repaid. So far only $800 have been returned and it took yelling and screaming just to get this amount. She has taken thousands of dollars from her sister without paying it back. She has cut me off from her and my grand kids with comments that I am playing games and being rude just for asking for my money. She is being sued by loan companies and others for lack of payment.

Can I sue my daughter for the money she owes me and what do I have to do prove she owes me. Nothing was signed but all family members know this transaction took place.

Yes, you can sue her, but you may be limited to the amount you can legally recover because of the statute of frauds. Why in the world didn't you put the loan transaction(s) in writing?
