Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

I bought a house that has no easement for a shared driveway. There was no problems with the renter next door that shares the driveway. Well that renter moved and a new one just moved in a month ago. this new renter keeps blocking the driveway and does not help with the upkeep of it. I have talked with the ower of the house they rent and the owner will do nothing, I have had it. These people next door are even parking in the driveway just to get a rise out of us. What can be done?

Call the police and report it as an abandoned vehicle, tresspasser, or just to have it towed. You may also need to put up a sign up, informing all that it is private property, and all other vehicles will be towed. You might need to sue the owner of the other house, and/or the vehicles for any damage to the driveway. You might start by hiring a lwyer to write to teh owner of the other house and their renter, to spell out what is going to occur if there is any future unpermitted use the driveway.

Good luck
