Re: workers comp....do i need an attorney

if you hire an attorney your attorney will work on a contigency fee basis, and will take 25% of any final lump sum settlement or other recovery made on your behalf. Your attorney will also have you rated by a doctor chosen by your attorney who will no doubt give you a better rating than the doctor paid by your employer's insurance company. An expert attorney can usually make a pretty good judgment whether you will net more money after attorney's fees than if you settle on your own. You may call me for a consultation if you so desire.
