Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Montana

Money issues with an ex-boyfriend

I dated my boyfriend for 41/2 years.

During that time we agreed to

support eachother through our

masters degrees. For 2.5 years I

worked full time and paid all

expenses while he was in school.

When it was my turn to return to

school he did not contribute any

financial assistance so I continued to

work and support myself. Due to

deceitful behavior I left him. Can I

legaly ask him to pay me back for

one of the years I supported him

since it was in our verbal agreement

to eachother?

Re: Money issues with an ex-boyfriend

The problem is how can you prove your verbal agreement so that when you file a case against him it has some legal leg to stand on.
