Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

My daughter is going through a divorce, the husband continues to use the child as to tool in this incident. A family relative said that they will take care of the child until the divorce is completed. Can you have a relative living in another state take care of the child without any trouble from the courts?

The Court has a parental preference rule so it would interfere with any attempt by one parent to unilaterally send the child to a relative in another state without permission of the other parent or an order from the Court.
