Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

I am an unwed mother. The father's name is on the birth certificate. The last time he watched our kid it was much unneeded grief, him calling me names, hate and discontent. I had to have a family member go with me to make sure i got my child back. If i decide not to let him see our child til this goes to court, can i get in trouble or can it harm me by doing this?

You won 't get in trouble with the law but you might with him if there is no pending court proceeding. You should file a petition for custody and a motion for temporary custody. If there is domestic violence then you can apply for a temporary protective order at Family Court.
