Is my marriage valid

I married my husband 1 year a go and I recently found out he was not divorced from his previous wife,He got married in another country can my marriage be annuled with out having him sign any documents?

The better approach is to try and get him to participate in the Annulment by signing the paperwork or, at least, get him personally served.

You may be eligible for an annulment, but you have to serve your husband with paperwork. He does not necessarily have to sign, but he has to be given notice that you have filed against him.

I agree with Mr. Smith. If you know where he is living, you must have a process server go to the address, but if he has moved out and did not tell you his address, you can have him served by publishing on the newspaper.

If you get your marriage annulled and desire to stay with your husband, you will have to remarry him.
