Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

paternity

I have a 12 year old daughter that I

am not sure is mine (biologically). I

have raised her in joint custody and

have paid child support and love her

but cant help but want to know the

truth. If I find out from DNA testing

that she is NOT mine, can my ex wife

refuse to let me see her? Can she

continue to demand child support?

Will I lose my daughter? I have

raised her and love her as my own

and would continue, but my ex needs

to back off being so demanding and

controlling over my life. I need to

know the truth.

Re: paternity

At this point you have a de facto adoption of your daughter. No matter what the DNA results you will still have to pay child support and still have visitation rights.
