breastfeeding a five month old

can the judge make me give my breastfed 5 month old formula and will he allow his father to take him for a week over 7 1/2 hrs away?

This issue will be resolved by the court determining what is in the best interest of the child. I suspect that since parental rights and responsiblities are at issue, the court will appoint a Guardian ad Litem to investigate and make a recommendation to the court as to how to establish a fair and balanced sharing between the parents.

I suspect that there will be a need for you to show that lengthy time with father will be detrimental and that formula will be harmful. However, there are many things to consider and you should consult with an attorney to advise you after sharing all the facts and information.
