Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Hampshire

Break Lease

My lease runs out 2/29/08. I want to break my lease, we just got a new property management company this month and have not paid rent yet. Winter is coming and we were promised parking when we moved and we still do not have it. Can I break the lease without having to pay rent for the remainder of my lease

Re: Break Lease

In order to answer your question it will require a review of the lease. If parking was a key component of the lease, then you may have grounds for termination. I suggest that you have the document, and all the facts, reviewed by an attorney.
