Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Hampshire
We currently live in a small house in NH. Our landlord lives an hour away in MA. In our lease it states we are required to remove snow from the roof, however in order to do this we have to climb on top of it. This poses a serious health hazard if its icy. Is it legal to make the tenants responisble for doing this and risking serious injury or is it the landlord who should be doing this himself?

If you accepted the job of keeping the roof clear as part of your lease, it's your responsiblity. You may hire someone and pay them to do the job.
