Assault
On may 10th after sunday mass i was assoulted by a family member. Went to police station to file a report. Two days later she filed a complaint against me stating that i assoulted her and my child assaulting her disabled child which is a false statement. I have court date on May 26th, 2009. I need some advise to what to do.

Re: Assault
The initial date is for purposes of a plea and to advise the Court who will be representing you if you do not have an attorney with you or do not qualify for a Public Defender.
However, it is best for you to see an attorney before you go to Court to be advised of your legal rights.
If you would care to consult on this matter please feel free to call for an appointment.
