You need a lawyer, and you need to KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. Don't talk about this offense to anyone - and I mean anyone, except the lawyer you hire. Don't approach the person who charged you and try to get them to drop the charges, and don't have anyone on your behalf attempt to do it either.
