Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

NJ Lemon Law

My girlfriend purchased a new car in September of 1999 in NJ. Since then, it has required numerous repairs for different systems. Thus far, all repairs have been covered by the warranty. However, the warranty will expire before long. NJ Lemon Law clearly states that there must be three (3) nonconformities of the same type before a refund can be issued. All the problems she has experienced have been different. My question is, can the sheer number of repairs required to her brand new car, despite their differences, surpass the NJ Lemom Law requirements for three (3) problems of the same kind? And if not, can she sue for the aggravation, concern and detriment to her quality of life? Thank you.
