Are there any pros or cons about whom does the actual filing?

Not necessarily.
Call me if you like.

Re: Divorce filing
If the divorce is going to be uncontested, it may not matter.
However, it appears that this is a divorce where one of the parties lives in NY and the other in NJ.
If you are filing in either state you must make sure that the other has not already filed for divorce in his/her home state.

Re: Divorce filing
you have asked this question already.
you got an answer from me already.
if you did not get any answers from any other attorneys, then asking the question again will not aid you. apparently no one else took the time to respond to you.
