Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Young children on motorcycles

My grandson's father has a motorcycle. Should this 6 year old child be a passenger on this motorcycle? There appears to be no age restriction just need a motorcyle helmet. The law states in automobiles that a child needs to be in a car seat or a booter seat for safety. Pleae advise.

Re: Young children on motorcycles

Hi:

There may be no age restriction, but there should be proper judgment exercised on the part of the parent. Try and talk some sense into the father.

Good Luck

Re: Young children on motorcycles

I agree with Ms. Hessen, common sense so no child should be on the motorcycle.
