Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

terrioristic threats

we have a 37 year old male who lives alone in a property owned by his father. He consistently terrorizes the neighborhood and we cannot get the police to do anything. We have been through the horror of the court system but because we have no guidance, we have failed on several occasions. We have nine homes on our block and 7 people have filed complaints and numerous police reports.

We want an enforceable "court document" that will force the police to take action against him when he threatens, batters, and verbally abuses us. What can we do ?

Re: terrioristic threats

Your failure at this point to obtain relief is probably due to the fact that you have not obtained a lawyer. Since you have not retained an attorney in this case, you should contact one, (either me or someone else) to discuss your matter in more detail. Only then will you be able to rely on the advice. If several neighbors do this together, it would be less costly for you individually. I will be happy to assist you. However, you need to call me at 856-546-8010. If you mention LawGuru, there will be no charge for your first consultation. Good luck! Rob Gleaner
