Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

Hi I came to the U.S when I was 14 years old, my visa expired 6 months after that, now im 23 years old and I want to know if there is any way that I can get my visa back. I went to school here and my parents never told me anything about the expiration date on my visa or anything legal about it

You would needed to have left the U.S. before you turned 18 in order to not be considered to have accumulated unlawful presence. Now, if you leave the U.S. you face a 10 year bar before you can re-enter. Since you didn't enter without inspection, however, you will be able to adjust your status (obtain a green card) if you were to marry a U.S. citizen. But there is no way to "get your visa back."
