Re: Ead processing time through marriage

The regulations state that the EAD should be issued within 90 days of filing. However, practically, this does not always happen.

The issuance of the Green Card will depend on what jurisdication your case is pending with and how fast they are scheduleing interviews. In New Jersey it can be estimated to be around 6 months from filing.

Re: Ead processing time through marriage

Depending on where you are filing and if you are eligible for work authorization, it will take approximately 90 days after filing to receive your work authorization. It will take anywhere between 4-8 months to get an interview at USCIS after filing, depending on where you live. The officer at the interview will determine your eligibility for a green card at that time.

If you have any additional questions about the process, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
