Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

I work at a Check Cashing location and recently have become concerned with some issues and if I could be held liable. Im going to get straight to the point, my employer cashes payroll and personal checks for illegal immigrants as long as they show some form of ID, fake or not. 90 percent of them are fake. Is this illegal and would I be held responsible for this. I would like a new job, but times are tough and the pay is alright here but not worth me getting into any kind of trouble
