Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

contesting a will/Real estate Holding

My father died in 1981 and i was not in the will that was

put into probate-well at least i think that is what

happened because he owned a prime piece of real

estate worth over a million dollars- there was a later

will without me in it and one made after my birth which

included myself, however that will was not used at the

time of his death- it vanished so to speak- this real

estate property was then sold after his death and all

monies were kept and i received none- am i able to

sue for any of that money that was recieved by his

family- the property was sold to the state of nj i am at a

loss in this matter-

The fact that your father died over 20 years ago would make it very difficult for you to bring any action, unless you were a minor when he died and some fraud could be proven. You need to speak with an attorney with all the facts to get an informed opinion.
