Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

Health got worse

hurt back in 2/05 in 4/08 got lump sum and now on monthly payments.

gained weight and dont move like i did b4 i hurt my back now as of 8/08 have clots in leg and lungs. breathing and walking r tough 2 do. im told this is a result of not moving around and getting circluation. i feel that if i never got hurt in the first place i wuld never be this ill. do i have a case to get more money from w/c? also, im filling out ssd forms. how do u calculate how many total hours did i sit,stand walk? am i suppose to add up the minutes?

No you cannot get any more $ or benefits. A lunp sum settlement is final.

I don't quite understand what you mean by "got a lump sum and now on monthly payments". If you got a one time payment called a Section 20 settlement, then you cannot re-open your case. If you got one big check and are now receiving monthly checks for the balance due on your settlement, then you CAN re-open your case. With respect to the SSD forms, you don't have to be so exact as to the amount of time you can sit etc. Just give a good estimate and that will be sufficient.
