Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

injured at hospital

I was punched in the ear at my part time job at kessler rehab hosp.

by a patient and was told thet the patient has brain damage and is aggressive

i am a security guard

I missed 1 day and a half

which they refused to pay and

I went to the hospital after being hurt and they did a scan etc

i had only minor injuries which healed but they said the insurance

company is considering payment and its not definite that they would pay the bill even though its work related

what are my rights?

You should bring any bill you get to your company's personnel office and have them submit the bill to your company's workers compensation insurer. Workers compensation should cover this bill since it is for a work related injury.
